Language learning through rhyme

Language learning through rhyme

Scott is going through (I now realise) the rather typical stage of enjoying rhyming words.  He does this mostly in English (Scott the dot bot, Hog the Frog on the Bog.... you get the idea).  I recently read that it is (I guess obviously) good to encourage this in a foreign language, and indeed I sometimes find Scott does try it in French.  I just don't know enough to encourage him in French.  Anyone have any ideas on how to do this with a limited vocabulary?

Re: Language learning through rhyme

On a similar topic, I read somewhere that tongue twisters were good for children to learn so I purchased a book of them, but it is hard to find tongue twisters in French that the boys can understand.  But I have found a few and they do make the boys laugh!
